Marine Trunk Piston Engine Oil | SAE 40 | BN 30
A premium-quality, medium-alkalinity trunk piston engine oil (TPEO) formulated for the crankcase and cylinder lubrication of medium-speed, four-stroke marine diesel engines operating on distillate (MDO/MGO) and low-to-medium sulphur fuels. Combines a balanced detergent-dispersant-antiwear additive system with quality base stocks to deliver strong piston cleanliness, ring and liner protection, and long oil life under continuous marine duty.
AEROX TPEO 4030 is a single-grade SAE 40, BN 30 trunk piston engine oil formulated with select base oils and a balanced calcium-based detergent-dispersant package with anti-wear and anti-oxidant additives.
It is designed to serve both the crankcase and cylinder lubrication needs of medium-speed, four-stroke trunk piston marine diesel engines, providing effective control of piston deposits, ring sticking, and bearing corrosion, together with good water and oxidation resistance for reliable performance between oil changes.

• Combined crankcase and cylinder lubrication of medium-speed, four-stroke trunk piston marine diesel engines (main and auxiliary) running on distillate fuels (MDO/MGO) and low-to-medium sulphur fuel oils.
• Suitable where engine builder / OEM lubricant guidance calls for an SAE 40, BN 30 trunk piston engine oil (TPEO)
• Applicable to marine auxiliary engines, generator sets, and gearboxes where OEM approves an SAE 40, BN 30 grade

It is designed to serve both the crankcase and cylinder lubrication needs of medium-speed, four-stroke trunk piston marine diesel engines, providing enhanced control of piston deposits, ring sticking, and bearing corrosion where fuel sulphur levels or OEM guidance call for higher reserve alkalinity than a BN 30 grade, together with good water- and oxidation-resistance for reliable performance between oil changes.
