Marine Hydraulic Oil | High Viscosity Index | ISO VG 46 / 68
A premium, high viscosity index (HVI) anti-wear hydraulic oil range formulated for marine deck machinery, steering gear, winches, cranes, hatch cover systems, and stern tube/thruster hydraulics operating across a wide ambient and operating temperature range at sea. Available in ISO VG 46 and 68 grades for use across the full range of shipboard hydraulic circuits.
AEROX MRN HVI 46 & 68 are premium anti-wear hydraulic oils formulated with high viscosity index base stocks and a zinc-based anti-wear additive package, together with rust and oxidation inhibitors, anti-foam agents, and demulsifiers. The high viscosity index minimises viscosity change across the wide temperature swings encountered in marine service, ensuring consistent hydraulic response, reliable pump protection, and stable system performance from engine room to open deck.
APPLICATIONS
• Marine deck machinery: mooring winches, windlasses, cargo cranes, and hatch cover hydraulic systems.
• Steering gear hydraulic systems, stabiliser and stern-tube/thruster hydraulics.
• General-purpose shipboard hydraulic circuits, hydraulic power packs, and vane, gear, and piston-type hydraulic pumps where an HVI anti-wear oil is specified.
• Select grade (ISO VG 46 or 68) per equipment manufacturer's hydraulic system and ambient/operating temperature requirements.
